A gorgeous 19th century, Bradley and Hubbard, brass plated, cast-iron stag letter holder.
Measures 5 1/2 inches tall by eight and three-quarter inch wide and four and three-quarter inch depth.
Circa 1885 and is marked BNH and numbered.
Features a beautiful stag leaping over a fence, which is being pursued by two dogs on both the front and back panels which the whole piece is done and beautiful brass plated cast-iron. The center panel is mounted upon a flat and decorative funnel with large finger holes for curing . The base is supported by four scroll feet and the border has a beautiful scroll or oval motif around with two cartouches on the front and back great patina.
